AJPW Lifts Yuma Aoyagi’s Suspension & Pay Cut, Aoyagi Returning To The Ring On 3/15

Yuma Aoyagi is officially back in All Japan.

In November 2025, All Japan Pro Wrestling announced the suspension of two-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion Yuma Aoyagi. He caused a traffic accident, and his license was expired at the time.

As a result, All Japan suspended him for three months and hit him with a 50 percent pay cut for that three-month period.

A new update from AJPW was provided on Aoyagi now that his suspension is up. The Numazu Summary Court labeled Aoyagi’s charge as ‘negligent driving causing injury.’

Aoyagi is returning to the ring on March 15th, and he’ll be facing Hideki Suzuki in singles action.

Both All Japan and Aoyagi issued statements:

AJPW: We deeply apologize for the significant inconvenience caused to those affected by this incident, to the fans who support and cheer for All Japan Pro-Wrestling, to our sponsor companies, and to all related parties. Going forward, we will continue to work to prevent recurrence by instructing and educating our other affiliated wrestlers to be aware of their responsibilities as professional wrestlers and to behave in a disciplined manner as members of society, so as not to betray the supporters of All Japan Pro Wrestling.

Aoyagi: I would like to offer my deepest apologies for the great inconvenience caused to the victim, fans, organizations, sponsors, and everyone else involved. This incident was caused by my lack of awareness as a professional wrestler and as a member of society, and I deeply regret it. Moving forward, I will focus on each task before me and strive to rebuild trust. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have continued to support me, as well as to all related parties, and once again offer my deepest apologies.

The incident occurred when Aoyagi was driving his personal vehicle. He approached an intersection and continued moving without noticing the red light. He then collided with the other vehicle. The right side of Aoyagi’s vehicle was damaged, and the other party’s vehicle had light and bumper damage.
