Judo Athlete Genki Hanawa Signs Trainee Contract With All Japan Pro Wrestling

A new signee to All Japan.
All Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference on March 10th, and it was revealed that judo athlete Genki Hanawa signed a trainee contract with the company.
AJPW President Takeshi Fukuda and the current Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion and AJPW Athletes Association President Kento Miyahara were present to formally welcome Hanawa.

Hanawa spent 15 years involved with judo, and below are some of his accomplishments in the sport:
- Saga Prefecture High School Championships Individual Competition (Super Heavyweight 100kg+) – Champion
- National High School Championships (Individual Competition, 100kg+ Class) – Top 16.
- All Kyushu High School Judo Tournament (Individual Competition, 100kg+ Class) – Runner-up
- Kyushu Junior Weight Class Judo Tournament (100kg+ Class) – Runner-up
- 33rd National Athletic Student Weight Class Judo Championships (100kg+ Class) – Top 8
