Road Dogg Announced For Multiple Appearances Following WWE Departure

Road Dogg is hitting the convention scene.

Squared Circle Expo announced that Brian James (Road Dogg) will be at their event in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 27-28.

On March 20, he will appear at Diamond Championship Wrestling in Alabama.

Much later in the year, James will appear alongside his New Age Outlaws partner Billy Gunn at Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s Blizzard Brawl 21 on December.

On March 5, it was reported that James had exited WWE.

He had been with WWE since 2014, and was the co-lead writer on WWE SmackDown, a position he gained in February 2025.

Before retiring, he was a multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of D-Generation X in 2019.
