Cody Rhodes: Bell-To-Bell, Fans Are Going To Get One Of The Better Manias, If Not The Best Of All Time, At WrestleMania 42

Cody Rhodes has faith in the WrestleMania card.

Only four matches have been announced for WrestleMania 42, but seeds have been planted for other matches that appear to be on the horizon. Fans know that Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton.

Speaking to Complex Graps, Cody was asked why fans should check out WrestleMania.

“I said something that I don’t love how it came out, I said, ‘we’re sitting on a Sleeper Mania.’ What I meant was because a ten-year Mania, like (WrestleMania) 40, you feel this sense of destiny. There is something about that ten-year moment. This year, the matches, we have our main event with CM Punk and Roman Reigns. We just got to myself and Randy Orton as the other main event. The matches that are coming together, Stephanie and Liv, what clearly looks like what Jacob (Fatu) might be doing. Sami (Zayn). I think you’re looking at a bell-to-bell Mania that is the best it’s been. Bell-to-bell wrestling. Good, the type of stuff I frew up on, wrestling, bell-to-bell. For people who come for all the other grandeur and the spectacle that is WrestleMania, that’s all there, too. I feel like I saw some names on a sheet of some potential guests that is really exciting for a WrestleMania, for me, particularly. Bell-to-bell, I think they’re going to get one of the better Manias, if not the best Mania of all-time. I’d watch this WrestleMania for the potential of Je’Von, Oba, Kit Wilson, guys and girls who are hopefully sitting here ten years from now talking about main eventing WrestleMania,” said Cody.

He closed by saying fans should check out the show “because the stakes are higher.”

Along with Rhodes vs. Orton, Roman Reigns will face CM Punk, Liv Morgan will take on Stephanie Vaquer, and Rhea Ripley will battle Jade Cargill.
