The AEW World Champion has featured in several movie projects over the past few years, including The Iron Claw, Violent Night 2 and Happy Gilmore 2, where he plays the son of the titular character played by Adam Sandler.
While speaking to NBC California in a new interview, MJF was asked about advice given to him by Adam Sandler on the set of Happy Gilmore 2.
“He absolutely did. You know, I asked him, I said, ‘should I be approaching media a different way now that I’m starting to, you know, enter the world of Hollywood,’ and his response was, ‘keep doing exactly what you’re doing. That’s how you got the job in the first place.'”
