El Grande Americano Wins 2026 Rey de Reyes Tournament At AAA Rey de Reyes

The tournament concludes.

There was a four-way match during week one of AAA’s Rey de Reyes show to determine the winner of the Rey de Reyes tournament.

Competing in the match were Santos Escobar, Original El Grande Americano, La Parka, and El Grande Americano II.

During the bout, El Grande Americano II and Original El Grande brawled to the backstage area, and that left the ring to Escobar and La Parka.

El Grande II was helped back to ringside by security, and he was limping. Cameras cut over the upper section of the venue where Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano were beating on Original El Grande and handcuffed him to a railing.

AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. showed up wearing Escobar’s old mask when he was El Hijo del Fantasma and attacked him with a chair. Wagner Jr. and Escobar have been at odds. El Grande II went on to pin Escobar to win the tournament.

As a result, El Grande II will be challenging for the AAA Mega Championship.
