Jungle Jack Perry: I’ve Got An Injured Dinosaur, Got A Badass Bus, And I’ve Got The National Championship, It Sounds Like We Need To Go On A National Tour

At the event on March 15th, Zero Hour would feature a battle royal where the AEW National Title, held by Ricochet, would be defended. The bout would feature several names across AEW and ROH, with Los Angeles’ own Scorpio Sky, Jungle Jack Perry and more featuring in the bout. Perry would go on to win the match as Zero Hour bled into the main pay-per-view, capturing his second piece of singles gold in AEW so far.

While speaking in a digital exclusive posted to AEW’s social media platforms on Monday, Jungle Jack Perry would react to his championship victory at the pay-per-view.

“I couldn’t be happier right now, because that checked a lot of boxes for me. That was revenge for my best friend. That was the end of my quest for the National Championship, and that was something that I’ve been dreaming about for a long, long time. I have been to this building in years and years since I was a little kid and I used to come here and watch wrestling, and it was bittersweet today because I thought about the one person that I wish could be here with me and who could see it, and he couldn’t. But I don’t know, who knows the way this shit works. Hopefully you can see this from somewhere. But I got to share this with my family, my mom, my sister, my best friends, all the people of Los Angeles, and it’s not been the golden road that I thought it once might be, but I wouldn’t change a thing because I’m here today. I’ve got an injured dinosaur, got a badass bus, and I’ve got the National Championship. So to me, it sounds like we need to go on a National Tour. See you there.”
