Deonna Purrazzo Names Female Stars That She Knew Would Be A Big Deal Early On

Deonna Purrazzo has an inkling for talent.

Before signing with any major promotion, Purrazzo worked with some of the industry’s top names on the independent circuit. In a new interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, ‘The Virtuosa’ named Wendy Choo, Kris Statlander, and a few wrestlers as names that she believed in from their early days.

“Obviously, like with Team Adams, it was me and Karen Q, who’s Wendy Choo on NXT and EVOLVE. Tasha Steelz was with us. But then yeah, Willow was one of them. Gosh, I knew Kris Statlander before she was wrestling. She was managing a tag team called the Down Boys in Long Island. Gosh, Kylie Rae was always one of my favorites to wrestle before she did anything with any major company.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Purrazzo spoke about her viral Southern New Hampshire University commercials and how she is inspiring people outside of the wrestling world. Fans can check out her full comments on the matter by clicking here.
