NXT’s Sean Legacy Announces Injury

An injury to Sean Legacy.

There was a backstage segment on the 3/17 NXT on The CW that saw the brand’s Interim General Manager, Robert Stone, speaking to WWE Men’s Speed Champion Elio LeFleur.

Coming into frame were Eli Knight and Sean Legacy, but Legacy was on crutches. He stated that during the Triple Threat match on the 3/10 NXT involving himself, Eli Knight, and Jasper Troy, he suffered an ankle injury.

Legacy stated that he is not cleared and thus could not compete with Knight in the tag team tournament to determine the challengers to the NXT Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver.

Elio LeFleur then stated that he could fill in for Legacy, and that was made official. Eli Knight and LeFleur will be in tag team tournament action against The Culling (Shawn Spears & Niko Vance) on the 3/24 NXT.
