On last Friday’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, a contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton for their WWE title match at WrestleMania 41, Orton would seemingly snap and launched a brutal assault on the WWE champion, ending it with smashing a steel chair over Rhodes’ chair. Now, an NXT star has commented on the segment.

While speaking to Kron 4 in a new interview, Ricky Saints discussed Randy Orton’s recent heel turn on Cody Rhodes, likening it to his own.

“I’m going to tell you this. Sometimes it’s not a changing of the attitude. It is when we decide to put up certain boundaries that we’re tired of people crossing, and I think that’s what happened. That happened with me and that happened with Randy. It doesn’t make us bad people. It just makes us people who are tired of being walked over. So I liked it. I thought it was great. Good for him. You know what I’m saying? Good for him. Hopefully this stays here, but good for him.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Saints spoke about his partnership with Ethan Page. You can read more about that here.
