MVP says that Shelton Benjamin signed a contract extension with AEW ‘not too long ago’, along with MVP himself.
In October of 2024, both Benjamin and MVP would arrive in All Elite Wrestling, with the pair signing deals with the promotion. Last year, MVP announced that he had signed a contract extension with the promotion, keeping him with AEW longer.
While speaking on Your Entertainment Escape, MVP noted that both he and Shelton Benjamin recently signed contract extensions with AEW when asked about The Hurt Syndicate’s 2026.
“See, if I tell you, then you’ll know what to expect, and we don’t get down like that, man. Just know that the Hurt Syndicate is not going anywhere. As a matter of fact, Shelton and I signed contract extensions not that long ago. So we’ll be around kicking ass and not even bothering to take names for some time to come. In terms of what we’ll be doing, we’ll just keep it simple. We will continue to hurt people.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, MVP spoke about ‘having the best job in the world’. You can read more about that here.
