Leila Grey Undergoes Knee Surgery

Leila Grey is officially on the mend as she has undergone knee surgery.

On her Instagram stories, Grey wrote, ”Hey guys. I finally had my knee surgery yesterday. Everything went well. I’m home recovering and starting therapy tomorrow. Thank you all for the support during this time.”

In December, Grey revealed she suffered a torn ACL during her December 6 AEW Collision match against Mercedes Mone.

In January, Grey said about her upcoming recovery, “So today is January 19th and I had my consultation with a surgeon so it’s been over a month since my injury. I finally got to see the surgeon today, and unfortunately, the feedback that I got was I still do not have complete range of motion in my leg so I can’t fully extend it, still can’t fully bend my knee so, because of that, I have to do more prehab. At least another month of prehab, twice a week, and then after that, he said he should be able to operate so, it’s gonna be a long and lengthy journey to healing. But, I am staying positive, I am staying optimistic. Gonna do what I have to do and my plan is just to be better than even before I left. So, wish me luck guys. I will continue to update you guys on my recovery, what is going on. But, thank you guys for all of the lovely messages that you guys have been sending me. Really appreciate all the support and all the love, and I will catch you guys soon.”

Grey was part of Sky Team with Scorpio Sky, Christopher Daniels, Dante Martin, and Darius Martin on AEW and ROH TV. Zayda Steel has since been added to the group.
