Santos Escobar Announces He Will Be Out For Months

Santos Escobar will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

In a digital video posted by Lucha Libre AAA, Santos Escobar was seen clutching his left arm as he addressed El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.

Escobar noted he would be out of action for months. Escobar blamed Hijo de Wagner Jr for messing with his livelihood and his legacy. Escobar said that when he returns, he’s not only just coming for the AAA Latin American Champion, but he’s coming for Wagner 3G’s mask as well.

Fightful Select reports that Escobar is set to undergo tricep surgery. He competed at AAA Rey de Reyes in a four-way match against OG El Grande Americano, Americano II, and LA Parka in the finals of the Rey de Reyes tournament.
