Steve Maclin On Ricky Sosa: He Has Such A Viral Entrance Song And He Backs It Up In The Ring

Steve Maclin comments on Ricky Sosa.

On the 3/12 TNA iMPACT, Ricky Sosa made his North American debut against Brad Attitude and gained his first victory for the promotion.

Speaking with Rewind Recap Relive, former TNA World Champion Steve Maclin was asked how he felt watching Sosa make his TNA debut. He said:

“It was cool for me [on] the first day to see just how he was. You could tell he was nervous, in a good way. We all have the same mentality too. It’s like if you’re coming back from something or debuting somewhere, they’re going to know me or they’re going to care. He has such a viral entrance song that it’s there, but then he backs it up in the ring and this kid’s only 21 years old. It’s just like where’s everybody growing and learning this talent out of nowhere. But he’s a very young talent. [He] has a lot of mileage ahead of him. The world is his own oyster right now in its own way where he’s just got to go out there and just kill it every time he can. The crowd’s already with him on his entrance. Now it’s just backing it up in the ring still and continuing to do that.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Maclin talked about his recent TNA firing. Fans can read more about it here.
