R-Truth & Damian Priest Win WWE Tag Team Titles On 3/20 WWE SmackDown
New WWE Tag Team Champions were crowned on WWE SmackDown.
R-Truth and Damian Priest became number one contenders to the Tag Titles on SmackDown a few weeks ago. A title match between these two teams was scheduled for this week’s (March 20) SmackDown.
Truth and Priest don’t have a ton of experience working together in the ring, but in just their third match together, they managed to defeat Tama Tonga and JC Mateo for the WWE Tag Team Titles. The match saw interference from The Wyatt Sicks as well.
In the end, Truth hit an Attitude Adjustment on Mateo to win the bout. This is Truth and Priest’s first title reign as a team.
