Daniel Lopez, El Satanico, was triumphant in his retirement match against Atlantis & Blue Panther at CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas.

After 53 years as a wrestler, El Satanico’s in-ring career came to a close. His retirement match took place on CMLL’s Homenaje a Dos Leyendas event. His final match was him defeating Atlantis & Blue Panther in an elimination three-way match

Satanico, real name Daniel Lope, was a multi-time champion in CMLL and is one of the most influential rudos in professional wrestling history, as well as one of CMLL’s most influential minds behind the scenes, serving as a coach in both Arena Mexico & Arena Coliseo Guadalajara.

Lopez spent all but two years of his career in CMLL, with him spending two years in AAA in 1993 and 1994. He competed in 1,695 matches in his career in all promotions. We wish Lope a happy retirement!
