Eddie Edwards comments on The System, noting that the faction is about the faction, not one individual member.
Since the beginning of 2024, The System has been a major part of TNA programming, with Edwards being a key member of the faction.
While speaking to Q101 in a new interview, Eddie Edwards spoke about what makes the faction different from other ones.
“The important thing for us is it’s not about one member of the group, of the faction. It’s about the collective system. It’s about us as a whole, where whatever is needed in the moment, if we need something, if it’s about Cedric at the moment, if he has an X-Division title, whatever he has going on, our focus is on that, is trying to help him succeed. It’s about wanting the best for each other as opposed to me, me, me, me, me, me. You know what I mean? I think that really is what will help us continue to grow and our chemistry will continue to gel and grow is that it’s about the greater good. It’s not about any one of us. It’s not about being the selfish one who’s waiting for what I want or what I need. It’s like doing whatever we can to help each other in the moment, and I think that is what separates us from any other group where in a lot of other groups, you know, like, okay, this guy or girl is the quote unquote leader. This is the one who’s going to be the world champion. Like in our group, You don’t know what’s going to happen or who’s going to be in control next. It’s about whatever’s needed in that moment. I think that’s a very important thing for us.”
Edwards is currently scheduled to face off with Moose at TNA Sacrifice. You can read more about that here.
