Jacob Fatu On What’s Really At Stake In His Drew McIntyre Feud: ‘We’re Talking About Taking Food Off My Family’s Table’

Jacob Fatu says he might get released if he takes things too far with Drew McIntyre.

Ever since his return in January 2026, Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre have been at odds with each other. Fatu was also responsible for McIntyre losing his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes on the 3/6 edition of SmackDown.

Speaking on Bootleg Kev, Jacob Fatu discussed his rivalry with Drew McIntyre and how important winning is for him.

“I’m a man. I got my kids. There’s no, ‘Oh, good luck’ or ‘Oh, It was your best shot, try again.’ No, man, we’re not doing that. I’m a man. Drew’s a man. Besides the whole backstage people politicking [and] people saying, ‘Oh, there’s a stimulation’… I don’t need a title. I’m not wrestling for a title. I didn’t come here for [it.] I came here to make money, to take care of my family.

When you bring up Jacob Fatu, you’re going to feel this. You’re going to feel the whole Sacramento. You’re going to feel the whole NorCal. You’re going to feel this. This isn’t just a life-changing ‘Old Jacob has a great story.’ No. Somebody’s going to lose.

It doesn’t have to be at WrestleMania. This ain’t no buildup. This ain’t nothing. This is just with everything going on in the back to the politics, to the stipulations, to everything. Let’s keep it 100. I’m looking dead in the camera. I’m not losing. Somebody has to lose. All right. This ain’t got nothing to do with no work, no build up. This is nothing.

Now you’re bringing it up, and you’re bringing it up for a good reason because I’ve been a little hot. Even the company knows I will get released over this shit.
