Rosemary comments on Tatum Paxley being a champion despite her oddball character in WWE NXT.
Tatum has been a champion in NXT more than once, as NXT Women’s Champion and the NXT North American Champion, which she currently holds after defeating Izzi Dame for the title before once again defending against her inside a steel cage.
While speaking to Soundsphere Magazine, TNA’s Rosemary would discuss oddball characters in wrestling, briefly discussing Tatum Paxley in WWE NXT.
“[WWE NXT’s] Tatum Paxley… we absolutely adore her. There’s a genuine enthusiasm there. She’s got a wonderful following… and to allow her to be this alternate character that she is, and to show that kind of love for what she is… her true self on television… She’s a champion. Ten years ago, someone like her is a mid-card act, never a champion, because she’s just a weird kid, well, she is now. There is more of acceptance for weird kids like her, like us… like so many countless others out there.”
In September of 2024, Rosemary and Paxley would clash as a result of the TNA/NXT working relationship. You can read more about that here.
