NXT’s Lexis King Not Medically Cleared To Compete

Lexis King is not cleared.

During a Gauntlet match on the 3/24 NXT on The CW, Birthright’s Charlie Dempsey was in action. Dempsey is part of the Birthright group with Lexis King, and King’s health status was addressed.

Commentator Vic Joseph stated that King is not cleared to compete. Over the weekend at an NXT house show, King was injured in the same match that WWE Men’s Speed Champion Elio LeFluer was hurt in. Fightful Select reported that LeFluer was in a sling.

There was an angle on the 3/24 NXT during which LeFluer and Eli Knight were ambushed by an unknown attacker or attackers.

Birthright is in the finals of the NXT Tag Team Title number one contender’s tournament that’ll be taking place on 3/31. Two members of the group will be facing Los Americanos (Rayo Americano & Bravo Americano), and King was advertised as a potential competitor along with his fellow members of Birthright (Uriah Connors, Charlie Dempsey & Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo).
