Joe Hendry vs. Ethan Page vs. Ricky Saints vs. Tony D’Angelo For NXT Title Added To Stand & Deliver PLE
Fatal 4-Way for the championship.
Closing out the 3/24 NXT on The CW was a singles match between Ricky Saints and Tony D’Angelo. Saints was accompanied to the ring by Ethan Page, and during the bout, Page got involved and attacked D’Angelo.
NXT Champion Joe Hendry made his way out to the ring and fought off Page and Saints, and then directed his attention to D’Angelo, who had previously come after him.
The final shot before the cameras cut backstage saw Page and Saints both having a hold on the NXT Title belt. Hendry and D’Angelo were looking on in the background.
Backstage, NXT Interim General Manager Robert Stone was being interviewed, and he made it official that at Stand & Deliver on April 4th, Joe Hendry will defend the NXT Title in a Fatal 4-Way against Saints, Page, and D’Angelo. A contract signing is set for the 3/31 NXT at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden.
