Kelani Jordan On If She Feels Like She Needs To Win The NXT Women’s Championship Before Her Main Roster Callup: I Think You Can Jump Over That Championship

Kelani Jordan comments on the idea that she needs to win the NXT Women’s Championship before her WWE main roster callup.

Over the years, many women’s wrestlers have come through the doors of NXT, WWE’s developmental brand. However, not every woman who has been called up to the main roster has been NXT Women’s Champion, including WrestleMania main eventers Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair.

While speaking to Busted Open in a new interview, Kelani Jordan answered if she felt like she has to win the NXT Women’s Championship before being called up to the WWE main roster.

“I think you can jump over that championship, because we’ve seen girls do it before. Becky (Lynch) was in NXT, she didn’t win the championship, actually when she came back is when she got the championship. “There’s also other superstars, like greats, who never won the NXT Women’s Championship, and they’re prospering and thriving on the main roster.”
