Kenny Omega Defeats Swerve Strickland, Becomes #1 Contender For AEW World Championship
Kenny Omega vs. MJF 2 appears to be on the horizon.
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with high stakes action, as Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland did battle in another singles match. Omega put his Executive Vice President role on the line while Strickland agreed to defend his status as the number one contender to the AEW World Championship.
In the end, Omega was able to prevail over Strickland. ‘The Cleaner’ scored the winning pinfall after crushing Strickland with his One Winged Angel finisher.
