Matt Cardona Tells Cody Rhodes That Richard Holliday And Ben Bishop Are Top Guys On The Indies And Perfect WWE Superstars
Matt Cardona spent six years on the independent scene after his WWE release, working with anyone and everyone across multiple promotions.
Cardona dubbed himself the King of the Indies, but is now back in WWE, leaving the throne unclaimed.
Speaking to Cody Rhodes on What Do You Want To Talk About?, Cardona was asked who he sees as the top guys on the indies.
“Effort is very important to me. Ben Bishop and Richard Holliday are my two guys. They post a lot, advance their stories, and do the cell phone promos nobody wants to do. You have to. Those are my two guys. There are many other guys and girls out there, but those are the two who come to mind,” he said.
Cody asked if those two guys “are good?”
Cardona replied, “I think they’re good. They’re perfect WWE superstars. I’ve wrestled them both.”
Holliday and Bishop have wrestled all across the world for any and every promotion on the independent scene. They have both taken part in recent WWE tryouts.
