Kazusada Higuchi Opens Up About Potential Post-Retirement Plans

Details about what Higuchi could be doing post-wrestling.
Due to a cervical vertebrae injury, two-time KO-D Openweight Champion Kazusada Higuchi is retiring from in-ring competition.
After the announcement and press conference for Higuchi’s retirement, he sat down with DDT Pro-Wrestling’s official website for an extensive interview. He told the outlet that he has not accomplished all of what he wanted to and said there is some regret.
“Not 100 percent… Well, I do still feel like there’s a bit more I wanted to do, so there’s some regret there, but as things stand, I feel like I’ve done everything I could on my own.”
He would go on to comment on what his post-in-ring career could look like. He stated that he may take on some part-time jobs.
“Even if I’m interested, whether I actually want to do it is another matter. For example, a soba noodle shop or a job where you prepare fish. My dad used to be a truck driver, so maybe I could be a driver… I don’t have a license though.” It was mentioned that Higuchi is the type of person to immerse himself in something and master it, and he said, “I think that’s probably true. So, I want to try various things and find something among them that I feel I can aim for. That’s why I’m going to start with part-time jobs and gain some experience.”
