Cody Rhodes Responds To Roman Reigns Saying That He Was Nervous On The Set Of ‘Street Fighter’

Cody Rhodes fires back at Roman Reigns.

The set of ‘Street Fighter’ has been a popular topic of conversation for both Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes as of late. Earlier this month, Reigns claimed that he heard a rumor that Rhodes requested to not be around him during the film’s production.

Speaking with Adam Glyn for a new interview, Rhodes responded and seemingly shut down that rumor.

“We never interacted on set. What did he say, he said that it was my idea [to keep us separate]. I think Roman knows better because we share the same security force. I took half of them when I beat him at WrestleMania. He should know better but I think he was just nervous. He was new, I had been there already in Australia. I was leaving, he was just nervous. I can tell you that he did a really good job on the movie, though.”

‘Street Fighter’ will hit theaters on October 16, 2026. Rhodes stars as Guile, Reigns stars as Akuma.

Reigns is set to appear on Monday’s edition of WWE Raw. Check out the current lineup for the show here.
