Mayu Iwatani To Miss Three Marigold Shows Due To Ankle Injury

The double champion is off three events.

Mayu Iwatani, the reigning GHC Women’s and Marigold Superfly Champion, will miss three Marigold shows starting on April 3rd.

Iwatani suffered an ankle injury and is undergoing treatment. As a precaution, Marigold pulled her from upcoming dates.

In the fall of 2025, Iwatani opened up about the injuries to her left and right ankle that she had been working through.

Iwatani was last in action at Marigold’s March 29th show.
