Road Dogg Had ‘A Lot’ Of Input On WWE WrestleMania 42, Says The Card Is ‘As Strong As You’re Gonna Get’
James had ‘a lot’ of input on the WrestleMania card.
A month out before WWE’s WrestleMania 42 event, Brian ‘Road Dogg’ James left the company. He served as the co-lead writer of Friday Night SmackDown.
James participated in a virtual signing and was asked if he had any influence on the WrestleMania card before he left. He said he had ‘a lot’ of input and thinks the card is as strong as it’s going to get.
He further commented on his exit from WWE and reiterated that things were moving too fast. He has nothing bad to say about the company and added that it’s a young man’s game.
“Yeah, I did. A lot,” James said when asked if he had input on WrestleMania 42 before he left. James was then asked what he thinks of the card and replied, “I think it’s strong. I think it’s as strong as you’re gonna get. I really do. I’m excited about Brock (Lesnar) and — look, I’ve got nothing bad to say. They’re moving fast and they are growing expeditiously, financially, they’re setting records every — you can’t say nothing bad. It just was moving too fast for me. I’m getting older and it’s a young man’s game. They’re running fast and they’re running fast internationally.”
