Drew McIntyre Says He Feels Creatively Fulfilled In WWE

Drew McIntyre has been in a prominent position in WWE since winning the 2020 Royal Rumble and going on to win the WWE Championship.
McIntyre has headlined PLEs, been involved in memorable feuds with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk, and won the Undisputed WWE Title. At the age of 40, McIntyre shows no signs of slowing down.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, McIntyre was asked how much longer he sees himself competing in the ring.
“Yeah. I mean, I know my wife feels like it’s gonna be a lot shorter than I probably feel it’s going to be, especially with how I feel now and how creatively fulfilled I feel these days. But as long as I’m happy, as long as she’s happy, and as long as the fans are happy with what I’m doing, I don’t see any reason to slow down anytime soon, especially when I see guys getting up there in age right now and moving as well as they’re moving right now, because we’ve just moved so far forward with athletes. Look at LeBron James or Ronaldo, for example, the same age as me, and they’re just still at the top of their game,” he said.
McIntyre is set to face Jacob Fatu in an unsanctioned match at WrestleMania 42.
Elsewhere during the interview, Drew McIntyre discussed winning the Undisputed WWE Title from Cody Rhodes. You can find his full comments here.
