Texts From Triple H And Nick Khan Show Tension With Vince McMahon, Messages About TKO
New messages between Triple H and Nick Khan have been revealed in the merger lawsuit.
Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling published a new report showing texts between Triple H and (Paul Levesque) and Nick Khan in 2023 as the TKO merger was coming together.
In the texts, uneasiness is revealed between Triple H and Vince McMahon.
On September 11, 2023, Triple H texted Khan, “How’s it going so far ? Man, I’m wound tight today …. DDay tomorrow, expecting the worst.”
Khan deleted subsequent messages.
Later in the day, Triple H relayed to Khan that McMahon wanted to meet about talent releases that coincided with corporate releases.
The following day, after the WWE-TKO merger was official, Triple H and Khan exchanged congratulatory messages before Vince was referenced.
“Morning! VKM looking to set an in person meeting for today at 4pm with you, Bruce and Ed regarding Talent Policies,” wrote Triple H. Khan deleted his message.
In 2023, Fightful reported that McMahon and Levesque were both involved with late changes to the Monday, September 11, 2023, episode of Raw.
On December 9, 2023, Triple H texted Nick, “Was just told by security that VKM is coming to Cleveland TV Monday. What’s that about ??????”
Khan deleted his subsequent messages.
The following day, Triple H texted Khan about Vince, Ari Emanuel, and Mark Shapiro.
“the more I think about it the more I’m kinda disappointed in that Ari convo…… Seems like we are in the same place , “I’m gonna tell him to stay out of it or else” that’s way different than “I’m telling him he’s done ….. it’s over” Kicking the can down the road
What do u think about me hitting Shapiro to get his take and let him push or better direct to Ari?”
Between you and I, It feels like they are both backtracking on the “he’s out” narrative. It’s back to the “well if he wants to go to the show now and then” and “if he gives notes and wants to have a 30min meeting now and then, ok”

Khan once again deleted his messages.
Triple H was also worried about Punk and Vince being on the same plane, but there were no follow up texts.
As previously reported, McMahon messaged about the creative for Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.
Vince resigned from WWE in January 2024 after a lawsuit was filed by former employee Janel Grant, accusing Vince of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
The original lawsuit, which was filed in 2023, alleges that McMahon predetermined the transaction with Endeavor to secure his continued role at the company in light of the sexual misconduct scandal surrounding him, rather than shopping WWE to maximize shareholder value.
