Elio LeFleur Announces He’s Undergone Successful Surgery

Elio LeFleur is on the mend.

On Tuesday, Elio LeFleur announced that he had undergone successful shoulder surgery. “Surgery was a success. See you soon,” he wrote alongside a picture of himself in a hospital bed.

LeFleur announced his shoulder injury on the March 31 episode of NXT, revealing that he was going to be sidelined for six months.

LeFleur relinquished the NXT Speed Championship as a result of his injury. The tournament to crown a new champion will begin on the April 7 episode of NXT.

He last wrestled at a NXT live event on March 30, teaming with EK Prosper, Kale Dixon & Tavion Heights against BirthRight (Channing Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, Lexis King & Uriah Connors).
