Hiroshi Tanahashi Joins Cast Of Japan’s ‘Okaeri’ Show On ABC TV

Tanahashi takes on a new role.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling President Hiroshi Tanahashi is taking on a new role as a cast member of an evening news program in Japan.

He’ll be joining the cast of ‘Okaeri’ on ABC TV. Tanahashi sent out the following tweet after the news was made public:

Tanahashi will appear on the show every other Friday and will analyze complex social issues and daily news.

Tanahashi wrapped up his in-ring career at Wrestle Kingdom 20, where he fell in defeat to Kazuchika Okada in what was his final match.
