Bandido captured the ROH World Championship at AEW Dynasty on April 6, 2025 by defeating Chris Jericho.
On social media, he reflected on surpassing one year as ROH Champion.

During his time as champion, he has made eight successful title defenses. He has not defended the title in 2026.
