Don Callis: Kenny Omega Gets A Hangnail, The World Is Atremble. One Of My Guys Gets A Catastrophic Injury And It’s Crickets

Don Callis wants fans to show more respect.

Another name was recently added to the injury list for the Don Callis Family, as Kyle Fletcher sustained a meniscus injury and is set to be out of action for months.

Clearly devastated with the situation himself, Callis wants fans to show the same concern for Fletcher that they do whenever Kenny Omega gets injured.

“Here’s the thing, Kenny Omega gets an injury — Kenny Omega gets a hangnail, the world is atremble, everyone’s going, ‘Oh my god, is Kenny okay? Oh, Kenny’s finger is hurt.’ One of my guys gets a catastrophic injury, a horrible injury that people should be crying for and it’s crickets. Nobody says anything. I think I’m really trying to point out, with an allegory, the disparate nature of the fan reactions based on whether it’s Kenny Omega or if it’s one of my guys. I think it’s unfortunate.”
