Penta Successfully Defends WWE Intercontinental Title Against El Hijo del Vikingo On 4/11 AAA On FOX

Penta holds on to the gold.

Closing out the April 11th episode of Lucha Libre AAA on FOX was El Hijo del Vikingo challenging Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

The backend of the bout saw Vikingo’s manager, Dorian Roldán, get involved in the bout and distract the referee. Vikingo went to grab the Intercontinental Title belt, but stopping him from using it was Mini Vikingo, whom Vikingo, Omos, and Roldán put in the hospital.

Penta went on to hit a Mexican Destroyer onto Vikingo to secure the win and retain his championship.

Penta is now officially set to defend the Intercontinental Title on night two of WrestleMania 42 in a six-pack Ladder match against the following competitors:
