Jamie Hayter: Toni Storm Carried The Division For Three Years, Now It’s An Opportunity For Everyone
Jamie Hayter weighs in on the absence of Toni Storm.
“Timeless” Toni Storm has been the focal point of the AEW women’s division for years, holding the AEW Women’s Title four times for a combined 640 days since September 2022.
Storm is currently sidelined after being “murdered,” and it is unknown when she will return.
With her being absent, Jamie Hayter views this as an opportunity for others to step.
“I think Toni did such a fantastic job and no one else could have done that. She really did carry this division for those three years, and she was the division I feel like. Of course, this is an opportunity for myself and for everybody else. It’s a chance to kind of mix up the roster a bit more. Maybe put people in the mix that haven’t been for a while,” Hayter told Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated.
Hayter is set to challenge Thekla for the AEW Women’s Title at AEW Dynasty.
