Thekla Retains Women’s World Championship At AEW Dynasty

The title is still in Thekla’s possession.

On the billing for All Elite Wrestling’s 2026 Dynasty pay-per-view was an AEW Women’s World Championship match between Jamie Hayter and the champion Thekla.

Thekla has been reigning as champion since February. The match against Hayter was her fourth defense of the belt, and she emerged victorious.

Thekla countered Hayter’s move into a pinfall, and during the final count, Thekla grabbed hold of the ring ropes to secure her pin.

Hayter’s partner, Alex Windsor, jetted to the ring to alert the referee that Thekla cheated, but the decision was final.
