Tony Khan Says He Spoke To Ricochet About His MS Tweet, ‘There Is No Place For That’

In March, Ricochet responded to a fan with a harsh tweet that stated, “I’m glad you got MS” after the fan criticized his acting. He apologized on Tuesday, writing, “I took out my hatred for the IWC on Sandi, and inadvertently others who are effected by MS. She didnt deserve it and for that, I sincerely apologize. Moving forward I’ll do better.”
At the AEW Dynasty press conference, Joel Pearl of Fightful’s In The Weeds asked AEW President Tony Khan if he spoke to Ricochet about the tweet and if there is a social media policy in AEW.
“I did, and I had a conversation with him. I have a good conversation and a frank talk. That was not acceptable and I think that was communicated. We have a policy and continues to be a policy in place for such things, and that violated it. There is no place for that in wrestling or anywhere. I do appreciate you asking, and we’ve tried to move past that, but thank you for asking,” he said.
Ricochet defeated Chris Jericho at AEW Dynasty.
