Marigold’s Rossy Ogawa Issues Apology For STARDOM Copyright Violation

A statement from Ogawa.

There was an internal investigation by Dream Star Fighting Marigold, which resulted in the promotion discovering that they had violated STARDOM’s copyright.

There was a Mayu Iwatani card collection that Marigold was selling to celebrate her 15 years in pro wrestling. The collection included pictures of Iwatani from her STARDOM run. Ogawa is a co-founder of the STARDOM promotion.

Ogawa issued an apology to STARDOM and noted that the manufacturing and sale of the product have ended. He noted that the problem derived from Marigold’s lack of awareness regarding international property rights, and they will be taking measures to prevent it from happening again.

As for Mayu Iwatani, she is out of action after suffering two fractures in her big toe. Iwatani is the current Marigold Superfly and GHC Women’s Champion.
