In recent weeks, Pat McAfee has become a part of the WWE Championship feud leading up to WrestleMania 42, allying up with Randy Orton to try wrestle the WWE Championship away from Cody Rhodes. This has led to Pat attacking Cody on several occasions, being punted between the legs in the trios initial segment together.
While speaking to Stephen A Smith on ESPN’s First Take in a new interview, Cody Rhodes would respond to Stephen A noting that Cody needs to have a plan with Randy having Pat up his sleeve, with Cody noting that he has something of his own up his own sleeves.
“There’s something in these sleeves, too. You can’t just keep getting kicked in the balls by an NFL punter and not have a plan of your own. I got a plan here. I got a plan.”
Elsewhere in the same appearance, Cody spoke about how wrestling has changed since his match at WrestleMania 26. You can read more about that here.
