Natsupoi Talks Cosmic Angels, Sareee, STARDOM in Las Vegas, More | Interview
STARDOM's Natsupoi joins Scott E. for a exclusive interview ahead of STARDOM's return to Las Vegas

Natsupoi is ready to take Las Vegas by storm!
On April 17th, STARDOM returns to Las Vegas for AMERICAN DREAM 2026 in Las Vegas, featuring some usual names who have made the trip, but also one name that many have been wanting to see — Natsupoi. The show will serve as part of Natsupoi’s American debut, one that has been highly anticipated since STARDOM’s return to America in 2024. She will also be competing on Wednesday at Pandemonium Pro’s Whatever, Forever show, where she’ll go one-on-one with Johnnie Robbie, marking her official USA debut match.
As one of the key members of Cosmic Angels, Natsupoi has been one of the most beloved wrestlers in all of STARDOM. Her skills have brought her to the highest levels of success as she’s a one-time Wonder of Stardom Champion, having held the title back in 2024. Recently, she’s found herself rivaling her best friend, Sareee, as they faced off at Stardom Dream Queendom 2025.
Natsupoi is also set to face Maki Itoh at the upcoming ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM 2026 on April 26th — STARDOM’s biggest show of the year. But before that, she’s made sure to make her US debut by teaming with her fellow Cosmic Angels member Aya Sakura on Friday.
However, before even that, Natsupoi conducted a short interview with Fightful’s Scott E. to discuss her arrival in America, the importance of Cosmic Angels, Sayaka Kurara’s decision, her connection to Sareee, and more!
Here’s what Natsupoi had to say!
Edwards: This upcoming week in Las Vegas marks your first-ever appearance in the United States! For the past few years, many fans have been eagerly awaiting your U.S. debut, and they are incredibly excited for it! Are you looking forward to performing in front of a new audience?
Natsupoi: “I’m absolutely thrilled! It’s my long-awaited U.S. debut! I wonder if people there will know who I am? I’m feeling a mix of nerves and excitement in so many ways!”
Edwards: Sayaka Kurara is set to face Saya Kamitani for the World of Stardom Championship at *All-Star Grand Queendom*. It is a highly critical match, as Kurara has explicitly stated that if she loses, the Cosmic Angels must disband. She made the decision to take on such a massive risk—putting the entire unit on the line—without consulting you (the longest-serving member) or anyone else. Do you support her decision to put the Cosmic Angels in such jeopardy? And now that the announcement has been made—facing the possibility that the group where you’ve built so many memories might cease to exist—how are you feeling right now?
Natsupoi: “Honestly, I was surprised by Kurara’s decision. I was also worried about her for taking such a heavy burden upon herself.
“It’s true, I have a lot of mixed feelings and memories tied to the group. But I don’t think there’s any point in clinging to the past!
“In a good way, I feel that this sense of suspense — this uncertainty of not knowing what’s going to happen next— is actually part of what makes the Cosmic Angels *us*.”
“Of course, I believe in Kurara. So I’m confident that the feelings I’m experiencing right now will eventually become just another fond memory — something we can look back on and say, “Remember *that* time?”
The Cosmic Angels aren’t going anywhere.”
Edwards: Precisely because the future feels so uncertain right now, I really wanted to ask you this: What significance have the Cosmic Angels held for you throughout your professional wrestling career?
Natsupoi: “It’s a place where I can truly be myself — a place where I belong. It’s family.”
Edwards: As many people likely already know, Sareee is your best friend. Late last year, she encouraged you and helped you break free from the struggles you had spoken about in numerous interviews. In fact, your sole objective became to defeat her. At *Stardom Dream Queendom*, the two of you put on an incredible match—one that Sareee ultimately won—yet you appeared to have rediscovered your true self. Even though you were defeated in that final encounter, how did that series of matches impact your mentality toward professional wrestling? And just how important a figure is Sareee to you?
Natsupoi: “Sareee is always there to give me the push I need. That period was incredibly tough for me. So many things weren’t going my way, and I had completely lost sight of how to even motivate myself. I truly believe that my battles against Sareee were exactly what I needed to snap me out of that funk — to ‘wake Natsupoi up,’ so to speak.
“That is something that simply cannot be done without love.
“Although I lost those matches, I still haven’t given up on my goal of defeating Sareee. That remains one of my primary goals and a major source of my motivation.
“Sareee is my best friend, but ever since that time, she has also become my greatest rival!”
Edwards: A year ago, after Tam Nakano was forced into retirement by Saya Kamitani, many people speculated that you—Natsupoi—would step up to challenge Kamitani and potentially capture the World of Stardom Championship. Unfortunately, you were defeated in that challenge, and you’ve spoken openly about just how deeply that loss affected you. Now, with Sareee’s support, the World of Stardom Championship can once again be on your radar as a potential next goal; but regardless of what transpires at *All-Star Grand Queendom*, will you continue to pursue that title?
Natsupoi: “I always strive to move forward — straight ahead and with absolute honesty — while staying true to what’s in my heart. Because of that, I’ll simply say this for now: my current objective isn’t necessarily focused on *that specific belt*.”
Edwards: You’ve delivered countless spectacular matches against both friends and rivals throughout your career, but there are always new challenges waiting just around the corner, aren’t there? Is there anyone you would like to face in the future—someone you haven’t competed against yet? Or perhaps an opponent you would like to have a rematch with?
Natsupoi: “I’d really like to fight Sareee again.
“I don’t want to give up until I’ve definitely beaten her.
“Also… Thekla.
She is a wrestler I simply cannot forget. Even if we’re on opposing sides — always.
“I really hope we can fight one more time.”
We’d like to thank Natsupoi for taking part in this interview ahead of STARDOM’s big return to Las Vegas!
