Rey Mysterio: I Warned Finn Balor Years Ago When He Was Vibing With My Son, He’s Ready To Teach Him A Lesson

Rey Mysterio discusses warning Finn Balor ahead of time about his son Dominik and comments on their upcoming WrestleMania match.

At WrestleMania 42, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor will go one on one at the event after Mysterio and the rest of The Judgment Day would turn on Balor and kick him out of the group. Balor is set to return to his Demon persona at the event.

While speaking to ESPN’s SportsCenter in a new interview, Rey Mysterio spoke about his son’s upcoming WrestleMania match, noting that he warned Finn Balor years ago about vibing with hs son.

“Oh, I’m looking forward to that match. I warned Finn years ago when he was vibing with my son. I said, ‘You gotta be careful with this kid, man. He doesn’t acknowledge his own father, so you can only imagine what’s going to happen down the road.’ Sure enough, exactly what I said is happening right now. We are living it. I did have a quick talk with Finn, actually, a couple of hours ago. He’s ready. He’s ready to whoop Dom’s butt and, more importantly, to teach him a lesson.”

Rey is also set to compete at WrestleMania 42, where he will challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a multi man ladder match. You can read more about that here.
