Rhea Ripley On Jade Cargill: To Learn This Craft On The Road And On Live Television, I Have To Give Her Props For That

Rhea Ripley respects Jade Cargill’s path.
Cargill’s path to wrestling stardom was very different from your average wrestler, as she has been regularly featured on national television since having her first match in March 2021.
With limited house show experience and no experience on the indies, Cargill has gained some respect from Rhea Ripley, with ‘The Eradicator’ praising her WrestleMania opponent for learning her craft on the fly.
“Jade Cargill, you look at her and you can tell she looks like a superstar.” Ripley told Shakiel Mahjouri in a new interview. “She fits in very well with the WWE. Especially when it comes to Mania, it has a big match feel when you put someone that looks like Jade against someone that looks like me. You know that it’s going to be an intense, hard hitting thing. To kind of learn this craft on the road, on live television, I have to give her props for that because that would be very daunting and just scary. For me, I’ve gone through this for years, I’ve been wrestling since I was sixteen years old. I’ve gone through everything. I started on the independent scene in Australia, I made it to WWE, I went through NXT and NXT then Raw and now SmackDown. I know the grueling task that comes with this business. She knows a different kind of grueling task. It’ll be very intriguing to me to see how WrestleMania kind of pans out because it’s like, we’re two different dogs in this fight. I’m ready to kick her ass though.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Ripley spoke about Bianca Belair and her current absence from WWE. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
