Nick Khan speaks about WrestleMania 43.
In 2027, WWE will be presenting their annual WrestleMania event outside of North America for the first time.
WrestleMania 43 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. That was discussed by WWE President Nick Khan during his appearance at the SBJ CAA World Congress of Sports in Los Angeles (quotes via The Sporting Tribune).
“We’re doing WrestleMania next year in Saudi,” Khan said. “First time ever, WrestleMania will be outside the United States or Canada, and we’ve had a big, fruitful partnership with them…
It was brought up that WWE has taken their Premium Live Events outside of North America more often, and Khan stated that no matter where they go, the fans will tune in.
“When we go, it doesn’t have to be only here. Our fans will tune in… no matter where we go.”
The article noted that Khan downplayed the negative feedback about WWE hosting events in Saudi Arabia. The article notes that he described those individuals as a ‘vocal minority’ and said company decisions are driven by ‘ratings, revenue, and relevancy.’
The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event took place in Saudi Arabia in January.
