Nick Khan Addresses WWE WrestleMania 42 Ticket Prices: “The Marketplace Dictates The Ticket Price”

WWE’s President speaks about the ticket prices for their biggest show of the year.
The SBJ CAA World Congress of Sports event took place in Los Angeles, California, and among the guests in attendance was WWE President Nick Khan.
He addressed the ticket prices for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Khan stated (quotes via The Sporting Tribune) that the marketplace determines the price of tickets. He also said the internal belief at WWE is that they’ll break the record that was set at WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
“We’re feeling good,” Khan said. “Last year we set records, which we set the year prior to that. So this year we think it’s going to get close to that record, but fingers crossed…
The marketplace dictates the ticket price,” Khan said, noting that even lower-priced tickets can quickly be resold at higher rates, underscoring continued consumer demand.
During the same appearance, Khan spoke about WrestleMania 43 being in Saudi Arabia and the criticisms of that. For more on that, click here.
