Paul Heyman: Everything Was Driving This Year To Be Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins and CM Punk vs. Bron Breakker At WrestleMania 42

For the first time in years, Paul Heyman is not part of the WrestleMania main event.

Speaking to his son Jacob on Instagram, Paul was asked if it pissed him off that he’s not in the main event this year.

“Yeah, it pisses me off. I don’t think it’s a big secret that everything was driving this year to be Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns, and then that fell apart. Then it was going to be Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk, and that fell apart,” Heyman revealed. “I was in line to be part of the main event this year, but fate intervened not once but even twice. I’d be less than candid if I didn’t admit that I take great pride in the fact that the most heavily anticipated match this yes is what I call the real main event of WrestleMania: Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi, but history won’t record that as the main event.”

Reigns is set to face CM Punk in the main event of night two, while Rollins will face Gunther. Bron Breakker is not on the card as he is injured.

The main event of night one is Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes.
