AJ Lee Addresses Her Future Following WrestleMania 42: “This Is Not Goodbye… I’ll See You Soon, I Hope”

Comments from A.J. Lee.
One of the title changes during night one of WrestleMania 42 was Becky Lynch defeating A.J. Lee to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
Lee was interviewed by Jackie Redmond during the WrestleMania 42 Saturday post-show. She spoke about the title loss and stated that this year’s WrestleMania is her favorite experience at the event. She added that the match against Lynch may be her favorite match ever.
As far as what’s next, Lee said it’s not goodbye, but she hopes to see everyone soon.
“It’s been my favorite WrestleMania experience so far. Maybe my favorite match so far. Even though I lost it, I got to have my family here. For a lot of them, it was the first time ever, and what I wanted to do with that entrance was represent all the fans who have been with me from day one; who have been wearing my outfits, my shirts and my shorts and my shoes and skipping along with me the whole way. That was for you. I love you. I never got to say goodbye last time and I felt bad about that. So this is not goodbye. But, I’ll see you soon. I hope.”
Lee captured the Women’s Intercontinental Title back in February at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. Her run lasted 49 days, and she had two defenses.
