Ilja Dragunov Confirms He Got H-Bomb Finisher From Former MMA Fighter Dan Henderson

Dragunov confirms where he got his finisher from.

A new interview with Ilja Dragunov was pushed out by The Ringer Wrestling Show. As the conversation moved along, Dragunov commented on his H-Bomb finisher.

The H-Bomb sees Dragunov leap up and drive his forearm into the face of his opponent, who is lying on the mat. Dragunov said he got the idea for the move from former MMA fighter Dan Henderson.

“My favorite wrestling move?… That’s a tough one. I really don’t have a favorite wrestling move. I gotta be so accurate and say it’s my H-Bomb, and honestly, that’s such a simple move and I completely stole it from Dan Henderson in MMA. It’s such a simple move but I’m very happy that I was able to pull it off before somebody else came up with the idea.”

Henderson tallied up a 32-15 fight record and last fought in 2016 at UFC 204. He is in the UFC Hall of Fame’s fight wing.
