Jun Saito Suffers Right Eye Injury, Status In AJPW Champion Carnival Tournament Unknown

Saito’s status is unknown.

All Japan Pro Wrestling is in the midst of presenting their 2026 Champion Carnival tournament. The tourney continued on April 19th, and former Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion Jun Saito was advertised for tournament action.

He had to forfeit his tourney match because on 4/18, he suffered a right eye injury.

Saito is set to undergo a medical examination to determine his future in the tournament. Saito is in the B block.

Jun’s twin brother, Rei Saito, is competing in the tournament in the A block.
