Charlie (Dakota Kai) Looks Back On Attacking Nixon Newell (Tegan Nox) At NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019

A look back at a highlight moment from her time in the company.

Throughout her two runs with WWE, Charlie (Dakota Kai) spent nearly a decade as part of the company.

She looked back at one of the highlight moments from that collective time, which was when she turned on Nixon Newell (Tegan Nox) during the 2019 NXT women’s WarGames match. During a chat with MuscleManMalcolm, Kai looked back on that moment.

“I think it was a lot of things (running through my mind). Just built-up anticipation because I’d been waiting for the opportunity. I think I’d been in NXT like a couple years at that point… just hanging around and then doing things here and there but that was the biggest opportunity that I’ve ever had to date to turn heel, and I got to punch William Regal in the face so that was kind of cool. That was awesome so yeah, I don’t know, just adrenaline hit me.”

Since her latest release from WWE, Charlie has wrestled in two matches. Her most recent was for the House of Glory promotion.
